Is there a way to customize widget colors? I have added a new theme palette by updating CSS and PHP files respectively, and that worked fine, but for whatever the reason cannot seem to update my call to action button color (as well as sidebar). In my CSS file, I would have assumed this snippet (below) would be what i would edit (the hex code for background), but even if i update the hex in css, when I troubleshoot my site and inspect, the element does not update and is still listed as #3e3e3e . This makes me believe that the color is hidden somehow or inherited from a location I can’t find but maybe I am overthinking or missing something. Can someone point me to a simple solution or direct me on how to proceed? I have also tried background-color (not as efficient), and putting an important statement after the color… amongst a slew of other things. Thanks for your help 🙂
padding: 50px 0;
That is the correct snippet to adjust for the call-to-action area. It’s likely that you’re not clearing your browser cache after updating, or that you are using a caching plugin. If this does not work, please send me a link to the page to inspect.
