Envy & Envy Pro Discontinued
It is with a somewhat heavy heart that I have elected to discontinue the Envy & Envy Pro WordPess themes as part of the Krolyn Studios suite. As of June 1, 2018 the online store will close and our theme products will no longer be available for purchase.
The decision to discontinue Envy has been a difficult one and is based on many factors, including increased marketplace competition, increased legal obligations (e.g. GDPR) and increases in comprehensive theme development, maintenance and support due to rapidly changing web technologies (e.g. WordPress 5). Continuing with the two theme operation is simply no longer viable.
Support for existing users
Support will continue to licensed users of the themes through to the end of May 2019 and this will be provided via the forums on this website.
No official theme updates will be offered during this time. However, ‘necessary’ bug fixes or patches resulting from updates to the core, framework or plugins will be made available as Precoded Clips using the WP Clips plugin. You can learn more and download the plugin at http://wpclips.net
These support arrangements may change should Envy receive a new champion and owner before expiration.
Envy looks for a new champion
Envy has always attracted strong reviews as being one of the best WooCommerce-compatible Genesis theme solutions in the marketplace. Hosting giant Cloudways rated Envy as the “best in the WordPress market” and Online Media Masters cites Envy at the top of its recommended 50+ Genesis eCommerce themes.
As such, I would be delighted to see the Envy themes championed by a business or individual who cares as much for the product and its users as I have done. So, if you are keen to adopt these two premium Genesis themes and back them up with good support for its users, please get in touch via my contact form. I’ll consider all offers.
WP Clips & ClipBank
Krolyn Studios will continue to support and develop the WP Clips customisation plugins and the ClipBank Precoded Clip library.
